Twenty-something | |
release date: June 24th, 2016 chart: UK #-, US #- 'Twenty-something', is the second single reeased from the album 'Super'. The CD EP features four tracks and the digital EP includes a fifth track – a mix by the Swedish DJ and producer Kornél Kovács. 'The white dress' and 'Wiedersehen' were produced by Pet Shop Boys and mixed by Goetz B. “Wiedersehen” features backing vocals by Rufus Wainwright. Los Evo Jedis are Reggaeton artists from Puerto Rico. The video for the song was directed by Gavin Filipiak, who caught the attention of Pet Shop Boys when he directed the video for a cover of ‘West End Girls’ by the US “Cholo Goth” group, Prayers. His video for Pet Shop Boys places the “Twenty-something” of the song in the harsh reality of Sherman Heights, San Diego, and gives a new context and perspective to the single’s lyrics and themes. A different version of the video for “Twenty-something” with the Los Evo Jedis remix as the soundtrack was available later. promotional video Cinematoraphy - Nico Mengin. Story by - Leafar Seyer.
